Stories that stay with you.

Darren Lynch

Darren Lynch is an author, creative writer, actor, director and screenwriter whose journey has always been driven by one simple ambition: to tell stories.

From a young age, Darren dreamed of becoming an author. Books such as Goosebumps sparked his imagination and showed him how powerful a story could be — how words could create entire worlds, build suspense and keep you turning the page long after you should have gone to sleep.

That love of storytelling eventually grew beyond books. Darren moved into acting, directing and scriptwriting, developing his understanding of character, atmosphere, dialogue and visual storytelling. Along the way, he continued writing, studying and perfecting his craft, including completing a qualification in creative writing.

His writing journey has taken him in more than one direction. Darren has written spiritual and self-development books exploring consciousness, transformation, higher awareness and the search for meaning, while his fiction explores darker territory — psychological tension, memory, identity, secrets and the unsettling spaces between what we believe and what may actually be true.

Infectious represents a particularly personal part of that journey. The story began years ago as a film idea that Darren hoped to direct and act in himself, before eventually becoming a novel and giving the story the opportunity to exist in the form he had always dreamed of creating.

For Darren, writing is more than putting words on a page. It is about creating something that makes the reader feel, question, imagine and, ideally, remember the story long after the final page.
